The start of the message matches the table.
Step 3: If it is not solved, write to us
support@tamgawallet.com — include the message text; do not send document images, your ID number or your revocation code.
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| “Could not reach the server. Check your internet connection and try again.” | Check your connection and try again. Showing a credential works offline too. |
| “The server did not respond in time.” | Try again in a little while. |
| “Wrong code.” | Type the 6-digit code from the institution again. |
| “Too many wrong codes; the offer was cancelled. Ask the institution for a new one.” | Ask the institution for a new QR code and code. |
| “This offer was already used. If it was not you, tell the institution.” | If it was not you, tell the institution. |
| “The offer has expired.” / “This offer has been used or has expired.” | Ask the institution for a new offer. |
| “Verify your identity first” | Verify your identity, then scan the QR code again. |
| “… could not find the details from your identity attestation in its records…” | Your ID number and date of birth must exactly match the institution's record; contact its registrar. |
| “This institution is not in the Tamga trusted list.” | You cannot get credentials from this institution. |
| “Not confirmed with your phone lock; nothing was done.” | You cancelled the confirmation; start again if you want. |
| “Your phone's lock or fingerprint/face settings changed, so this credential's key can no longer be used…” | Get that credential from the institution again. |
| “Turn on your screen lock” | Set a screen lock (PIN, pattern or password) in your phone's settings. |
| “All copies of this credential have been used; get it from the institution again.” | On the credential page, tap Refresh copies. |
| “This request uses the name of a registered verifier but is not signed with its certificate — it may be an impersonation.” | Nothing was shared. Do not trust the site; report it if you want. |
| “The issuer could not be confirmed in the trusted list, so the credential was not saved.” / “The credential did not pass the wallet’s checks, so it was not saved.” | The credential was not received. Try again later; if it persists, contact the institution. |
| “Your wallet’s registration was not found at the wallet provider…” | Check your internet connection and try again in a moment; the wallet registers itself again. Then create your revocation code again. |
| “This wallet has been closed.” | The wallet was closed remotely. Set it up again with This is my phone — set up again. |
Good to know
- Settings → Appearance → Developer → Last error shows the technical reason of the last failed flow. This screen is for developers; it contains no personal data and is cleared when the app closes.
- For identity verification messages: If identity verification fails. For sharing messages: Requests with options, and missing information.

- If identity verification failsIf verification stops halfway or does not pass, read the message, fix the conditions and start again from the home screen.
- Requests with options, and missing informationSome websites ask for one of several options or for optional information; you choose what is sent. If they ask for something your credential does not have, nothing is sent.
- What works without internet?Without internet you can still view and show your documents; getting, renewing and the revocation check need a connection.
