Licenses and open source
The code of the Tamga Wallet app is licensed under the European Union Public Licence (EUPL-1.2). The app is built on open standards and open-source packages.
Tamga Wallet app
- License: European Union Public Licence 1.2 (EUPL-1.2) — license text. The protocol package shared by the app and the wallet provider (
@tamga-wallet/provider-protocol) uses the same license. - Source code: not public yet; the link will be here once it is.
- The app uses Tamga Network's open-source packages (
@tamga-network/*) and open standards (SD-JWT VC, ISO mdoc, OpenID4VCI, OpenID4VP).
Open-source software we use
All packages the app uses, with their licenses, are listed in the app: Settings → About → Open source licences. The full license texts (MIT, BSD, Apache and others) are in the packages' own repositories.
This website is built with Next.js, React, next-intl and Tailwind CSS (MIT license). The Onest and IBM Plex typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Website and wallet provider
The code of this website and of the wallet provider service (provider.tamgawallet.com) is not open source; all rights reserved by BROS İNŞAAT SANAYİ VE DIŞ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ.
Name and mark
The “Tamga Wallet” name and mark are not covered by the code license; the EUPL grants no right to use names or trademarks (Article 5). You can use the code to build your own wallet, but you cannot distribute it under the Tamga Wallet name or mark.
