Tamga Wallet

My wallet status

Enter your revocation code to see whether your Tamga Wallet is active or closed. If it was closed, you see the date, the reason and what to do. No phone needed.

The 20-character code shown once when you set up the wallet (e.g. 7KQ4M-…). Case and dashes do not matter.
The code goes to Tamga Wallet's wallet provider (provider.tamgawallet.com/check) and the result is shown there. The page asks for no name, phone or e-mail; it stores nothing, does not close the wallet and never shows which wallet it is.

What you will see

  • Active: your wallet is working. If you lost your phone, you can go on to the Lost phone page and close it.
  • Closed: the date; the reason in plain words (at your request, or closed by Tamga Wallet for a security reason); which functions still work; what to do and, if there is one, a link to the security advisory.
  • Code not recognised: check the code and try again.

Why would Tamga Wallet close a wallet?

Apart from your own request, only for security reasons: the phone fails the security check, or a security flaw is found in a type of secure hardware used by phones, in a version of the app or in the identity credential scheme. For a single phone the decision is made by a person after review. A closure shows on this page within 24 hours at the latest; if several wallets are affected it is also published on the Security advisories page.

If you don't have the revocation code

Without the code this page cannot be used (the code is the only way to identify yourself without the phone; Tamga Wallet has no accounts). You can read the security advisories; when your phone opens, a closed wallet shows the reason itself.
