Delete my data
Tamga Wallet has no accounts or passwords; your information is in Tamga Wallet on your phone. Deletion happens there too.
Delete from the app (recommended)
- Open Tamga Wallet → Settings → Reset wallet and delete my data.
- Confirm.
This deletes, in one step:
| Where | What is deleted |
|---|---|
| Your phone | All documents, keys, pseudonyms, history and the PIN |
| Tamga Network identity service (a deletion request is sent to Tamga Network) | The records of your identity, driving licence information and contact credentials; the credentials are revoked |
| Tamga Network's identity verification provider | The document and face images taken during identity verification |
Tamga Wallet wallet provider (provider.tamgawallet.com) | Your wallet record (including the device attestation result and the fingerprint of your revocation code); the wallet is revoked |
If you delete without an internet connection, the data on your phone is still deleted, but the records at the wallet provider and the identity service cannot be. In that case, write to the address below.
Lost your phone? Close the wallet
If you have the revocation code shown once during setup, enter it at provider.tamgawallet.com/lost: the wallet is closed, institutions stop issuing to it, credentials issued by Tamga Network's identity service are revoked within 24 hours, and if the phone ever connects again it deletes its documents. The page asks for no name, phone or email. Closing does not delete your records at the wallet provider or the identity service; for deletion, write to the address below. Details: Lost phone. With the same code you can see whether your wallet is active or closed (and, if closed, why) on the My wallet status page.
If you no longer have the app
If you lost your phone or removed the app, email support@tamgawallet.com with the subject “Delete my data”. The wallet provider does not keep your name, so we will reply with what we need to find your record. Your records at the identity service are run by Tamga Network; for those, write through the channels in Tamga Network's own privacy notice.
Data held by institutions
Institutions that issued your documents (e.g. a university) and sites you showed a document to own the data in their own systems; Tamga Wallet cannot delete it. In Tamga Wallet, open the sharing in History and choose Ask them to delete my data; the request goes straight to the institution.
