Try your institution in the Sandbox
An institution can try issuing its credential with its own made-up data in a few minutes: open a test institution, add records, issue at the desk.
Topics in this guide
Before you start
- A browser where you can create a passkey.
- Made-up records only.
Steps
Step 1: sandbox.tamga.network → Try your institution
Type a made-up institution name and choose its type; tick the two boxes (made-up data only, deleted every night).
Step 2: Open the Institution Console with the invitation link
The one-time link creates a passkey at
console.sandbox.tamga.network.Step 3: Enter your records in the console
One by one or in bulk with Import CSV (first row: field names).
Step 4: Next to a record, use Issue at the desk
Scan the QR code with the wallet and enter the code.
Step 5: Show the credential at a verifier on the Sandbox page
E.g. diploma check or student discount.
Good to know
- Real institution names and official words are not accepted; “(TEST)” is added to the name.
- A record containing a valid ID number is rejected; use deliberately invalid numbers.
- The test institution, its records and certificates are deleted every night.
- To issue on the real network, institutions join Tamga Network: tamga.network.
