What's new

What is new and what was fixed in each version — in plain words. The “What’s new” text in the stores comes from here too.

  1. Version 1.0In preparationDate: on release

    First release

Carry the documents institutions issue to you on your phone; when a website or a door asks, show only what is asked, only with your approval. Your documents stay encrypted on your phone, and you approve every sharing with your phone's lock.

    Other improvements

    • Get documents from institutions: scan their QR code or find them in the list
    • Share only what is asked; when your age is asked, only “Over 18: yes/no” is sent, not your date of birth
    • “Sign in with Tamga”: a separate pseudonym for every site
    • Verify your identity once, remotely
    • Email and phone credentials; driving licence information (not an official driving licence)
    • Show in person: to a reader with a QR code and Bluetooth
    • Close your wallet remotely with your revocation code if your phone is lost
    • Password-protected transfer file and notifications created only on your phone

This version is being prepared; the date is added on release and the content may change.

    Technical details

The full changelog for developers is in the CHANGELOG file of the wallet’s source code repository: Technical notes live in the app repository, which is not public yet.
